During my undergraduate time, I was involved with the American Society of Mechanical Engineers as well as The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics. My Master’s thesis was in the area of Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUV), specifically developing software in Java for one of the AUV from the Naval Postgraduate School. It was very interesting seeing the vehicle accepting commands and submerging in the Monterey Bay while executing all the instructions sent from a computer.

I am contemplating pursuing a PhD in Computational Science, something that will complement my Mechanical Engineering and Software Engineering education. - During my free time, I enjoy wood working, reading, photography, kayaking and traveling, among others things.
